Product licenses on WarriorPlus are tools that manage how products are sold and distributed through affiliates. In this article we will cover everything you need to know. Let's get started!
Product Licenses Explained?
There are two basic license types at WarriorPlus: 'Personal Use' and 'Extended'.
Personal Use:
This license is for products intended for the buyer's personal use only. The buyer cannot transfer, resell or use the product in any manner other than its intended purpose, such as for training or software.
Extended:
This license type allows the buyer certain rights such as PLR (Private Label Rights), RR (Resale Rights), or MRR (Master Resale Rights). With these rights, the buyer is permitted to engage in activities like reselling the product or using it in broader applications.
An ‘Extended’ product license is subdivided into five categories:
The buyer can use this product as a bonus or giveaway.
The buyer can resell this product.
The buyer can sell resell rights to this product.
The buyer can modify this product and claim ownership.
The buyer can use this product as part of client projects.
The vendor may select one, several, or all of the options above. Once you have added your product and completed the setup, it will be displayed on both the checkout and thank-you pages, as shown below:
The Licensing section can be found on the ‘Edit Product’ page when you add a new product. Start by logging into your WarriorPlus account. Once logged in, navigate to the top of your screen and select the ‘Vendor’ dropdown. Then choose the option labeled ‘Products’, as shown below:
You will be directed to your ‘My Products’ page. Next, click on the green ‘New Product’ button, as shown below:
Selecting the ‘New Product’ button will direct you to the ‘Edit Product’ page. Licensing falls under the ‘General’ tab, simply scroll down a bit to find it.
Please select the license that best suits your needs and complete all other sections. Once done, click ‘Save’ and you’re all set.
