Your WarriorPlus Wallet is where your funds are held from money you have earned through WarriorPlus as an affiliate, JV Partner, and occasionally as a vendor. There may come a time when your available balance is a negative amount. We are here to help explain why that might happen.
Considerations of Negative Balances
There are 3 main reasons that your available balance would be displayed as negative: refunds, chargebacks, and delay period. WarriorPlus does take the reason for negative balances into consideration. Unless there if fraud involved on your part, your account will, in most cases, not be affected in a negative manner.
Refunds
The first reason would be that some of your customers were refunded by the vendor. Refunds are always taken out of the available balance, even if it might result in a negative balance.
It is important to note that the refund is processed even if it would result in a negative balance, such as if the purchase is still in a delayed status.
Chargebacks
When a customer opens a chargeback, obviously the payments can not be paid out. Instead, the purchase goes to a pending state. This pending state is based entirely upon the time it takes the customer's bank to go through the chargeback procedure.
As with refunds, chargeback money is taken out of the available balance, even if it would result in a negative balance.
Delay Period
The last way has to do with your delay period for commissions. It is a bit more complex than refunds or chargebacks. In it's basic form, if you withdraw before the delay period is over for a commission, or if the delay period is changed due to your stats, the system looks at it as if you were paid early.
Summary
These 3 situations could result in a negative available balance. Note, however, that all legitimate earned commissions will be paid out.
