Understanding Dimesale Pricing Elements
The dimesale setup consists of three main elements:
Start Price: The initial price of your product.
Increment Amount: The amount by which the price increases (e.g: Increase by $5.00).
Frequency: The number of sales after which the price increases (e.g: Every 10 sales).
The “current price” of your dimesale product is calculated based on these three settings and considers the total number of sales made, regardless of when you adjust these variables.
Resetting the Dimesale Price
To “reset” or adjust the price, try lowering the Start Price. Example:
Start Price: $5.00
Increment: $1.00
Frequency: every 1 sale
Units Sold: 10
Current price = $5.00 + ($1.00 × 9) = $14.00
(Price increases after each sale, so the 10th sale is at $14.00)
Now, let’s say you want the next sale to be at $10.00 instead of $15.00.
You can lower the Start Price to adjust the next sale price:
$10.00 = New Start Price + ($1.00 × 9)
New Start Price = $10.00 - $9.00 = $1.00
So, by setting the Start Price to $1.00, with the same increment and sales count, the next price becomes $10.00. You can modify any of the three variables, keeping in mind the total number of sales already made.
How to Change Dimesale Price or Price Increase
Go to "Vendor > Products" in your WarriorPlus dashboard.
Choose the product you want to update.
In the "Pricing" tab, turn on "Variable Pricing (Dimesale/Timesale)."
Adjust the start price, increment, and frequency as desired.
Once you’ve updated your settings, click "Save" to confirm.
How to Change Time-Limited Dimesale Price
If you need to reset the dimesale for Time-Limited sales, you can simply reset the time of release, which will reset the base time for that dimesale.
