In order for an affiliate to get credit for any product, they must be approved by the vendor to promote it.

If the vendor's offer has a front-end product, 2 OTO's/Upsells and a downsell, the affiliate will have to be approved for all 4 products available within that offer.

If an affiliate is approved for all products within an offer, then they will get credit for whichever product is purchased within that offer/sales funnel.

The same holds true for products that have different 'versions' or choices for multiple license-types. The affiliate must be approved for ALL versions/license-types of the product and then if a buyer selects ANY of the choices, the affiliate will get credit for the sale.
