As a vendor, you may want to establish different commission rules for your offer. One common approach is to base commission rates on the number of sales an affiliate has made. We’ll guide you through the process of setting this up.
What Are Multi-Tiered Commissions?
Multi-Tiered Commissions are commission rates determined solely by the volume of sales an affiliate has made for a specific offer.
For example, you might set up a structure like this:
Affiliates with 0-24 sales earn a 50% commission.
Affiliates with 25-49 sales earn a 60% commission.
Affiliates with 50-99 sales earn a 65% commission.
This structure is achieved by creating a Multi-Tiered Affiliate Rule.
Note: Commissions Rules will override the standard commission rate set for a product, if the rule sets a higher commission rate, but will not override it if the rule would make the commission rate lower than the normally set commission rate. So in the example, if an affiliate is already set to 60% commission, the first tier (50%) would not change anything for them.
How to Set Up Multi-Tiered Commissions for an Offer
To create a "Multi-Tiered" commission structure for your affiliates, you will need to establish a "Commission Rule."
Steps to Set Up Multi-Tiered Commissions:
Log in to your WarriorPlus account.
Click on "Vendors" in the top menu.
Select "Commission Rules”.
Next, click on the "New Rule" button at the top right of your screen to create a new commission rule.
Then, select the "Multi-Tiered" option from the dropdown menu, as shown below.
Next, select the "Offer" for which you wish to set up multi-tiered commissions, as shown below.
The "Product(s)" associated with that offer will appear.
Enter the minimum and maximum sales for each tier, along with the commission rate for that tier.
Click on "Add Tier" to add up to 5 tiers for each product in your offer.
Click “SAVE RULE” to complete the setup process, and you’re all done!
